Many years ago, a loving uncle in Ohio made a toy barn for a young boy. That boy is now a grandfather himself and has repeated that tradition with his grandchildren. The many years of joy from his own barn are captured in this original line of heirloom handmade toys. Grandpa Little designs and builds each toy barn in his workshop in Ohio. Every detail, right down to the flowers and stonework, is meticulously hand-painted to evoke the memory of the classic American barn, a vanishing icon of our landscape.
Each barn is approximately 26" wide, 14" deep and 16.5" high, made from wood with a metal silo. The detachable wooden ramp that's included is 9" wide, 10.75" long and 4" high. Both are solidly constructed to provide many years of imaginative play.
A limited number of barns is made each year, every one is numbered, signed and dated.
